When you book an ADHD assessment at either our Elanora or Mudgeeraba clinic, here’s what you can expect:
- Comprehensive Clinical Interview: A 1.5-2 hour in-office interview (telehealth sessions are also available, though in-office appointments are preferred) to thoroughly understand your symptoms and history.
- Specialized Scales: Completion of scales specifically related to ADD/ADHD, as well as assessments for stress, anxiety, and depression.
- Tailored Treatment Plan: You will receive a personalized treatment plan addressing your ADHD and recommendations for psychosocial approaches to enhance your well-being.
- Feedback Session: A 30-minute feedback session (in-office or via video) to discuss your results and next steps.
- Written Feedback: Comprehensive written feedback will be provided to other treatment providers involved in your care.

- Copies of academic reports (if available)

What’s Not Included in the Assessment
Please note that ongoing treatment and the prescription of medication are not included in the initial assessment. While Insite Psychology provides diagnosis and psychosocial interventions, a Psychiatrist can offer further advice on medication if necessary. Ongoing treatment can be arranged at an additional cost.

The cost of an ADHD assessment through Insite Psychology is $549. Additional treatment sessions are available at $170 per session, with a $96 rebate available through Medicare with a referral from your GP.
